use forms that utilize drop-down fields for easy
data entry. There's no limit to the number of Solstice handhelds
that can be used simultaneously and synchronized with QuickBooks1.
Every superintendent or crew leader can have their own handheld,
ensuring that the office always gets accurate and timely job
data.

Employee & Subcontractor Time Cards
Create
employee and subcontractor time cards in the field and assign the time
to specific cost codes and jobs. If a job
has been completed, mark it as such and Solstice
will generate a reminder in QuickBooks that the job
is done and ready to be invoiced.

Time Clock
Why try to remember how much time was spent on a job. Simply start the built in time clock when you arrive at the job and clock out when you leave. Solstice automatically creates all the appropriate time cards, assigning the time to the appropriate job and/or cost code.

Inventory Adjustments
Enter inventory items used on a job or do a complete inventory count. Individual item adjustments can be assigned to specific accounts, jobs, and/or classes. Record either the quantity used or a new quantity on hand.

Robust Synchronization
Synchronization
is always initiated from the handheld. You can
do a complete import/export or, if preferred,

Invoices
Create time and materials invoices just as you would in QuickBooks. Solstice automatically enters the standard payment terms and tax rate for the customer and the standard prices and tax codes for the individual items. It's easy to override the standard info if necessary.

Check & Credit Card Registers
Do you have a stack of receipts and no idea what they are for or which jobs they go with? Solstice lets you easily keep track of purchases and payments made in the field. Record the vendor, expense or item category, quantity, job, class, and even a memo. Transactions can also be split among multiple jobs and items.

Bills
Enter bills directly when there isn't an outstanding purchase order. Just like in QuickBooks, multiple items and expenses can be entered into the bill and each item/expense can be assigned to a specific customer or job.
